Lubricating Fluid
Part No. LF5050 (1 req’d.)
This fluid is used to lubricate the glands of the pitot adaptors. It is recommended that small amount be used before installing adaptor on pitot head. This will ensure smooth installation onto the pitot probe.
Seal Kit – Part No. SK821 (2 req’d.)
Two sets of spare seals for the pitot adaptors Part No. 18821-3 are stowed in the case.
Seal – Part No. S341-61 (2 req’d.)
Two spare seals for static test and static blanking adaptors are stowed in the case.

This kit contains all the equipment required to test from source the complete pitot and & static air data system on the BK117 helicopter, as well as the means of pre- testing all adaptors and hoses prior to being fitted to the aircraft.
Pitot Test Adaptor
Part No. 18821-3 (2 req’d.)
These units fit the pitot probes PH502- BKC and when installed they will isolate and test each system separately or simultaneously.
Pre-Test Probe
Part No. PT11882 (2 req’d.)
When it becomes necessary to test the integrity of the pitot adaptors and/or hoses and test set, these units are installed into the pitot adaptors thus simulating the pitot probe.
Static Test Adaptor
Part No. S34146-4 (2 req’d.)
These adaptors attach to the static vents by removing two static vent mounting screws. After static test, replace the two screws to the aircraft vents. The large knurled nut controls the forward and retracting action of the seals. It is advisable to attach the hose to the fitting prior to fitting to the aircraft.
Static Blanking Adaptor
Part No. S34146B (2 req’d.)
These adaptors are used in conjunction with static test adaptors S34146-4 and are used to blank off the matching static vent on the opposite side of the aircraft.
Static Adaptor Pre-Test Plate Part No. PT13414-2-2 (2 req’d.)
Pitot Test Hose Assembly
Part No. S76-7270 (1 req’d.)
This hose is connected to each pitot inlet of the adaptors and is fitted with double acting quick disconnects for use when it is desirable to test only one pitot system. The connection for the pitot outlet of the pneumatic generator is included on the assembly.
Static Test Hose Assembly
Part No. AS350-5160 (1 req’d.)
This assembly attaches to the static fitting. The double acting quick disconnects operate in the same manner as that on the pitot test hose assembly. The extension hose fitting then connects to the static outlet hose of the pneumatic generator.
